Join us in congratulating , Dr. Tommy Welch for being selected as a finalist for the Georgia Association of Secondary Principal’s Award. Welch has been a part of the Meadowcreek family since 2003 when he joined the faculty as a teacher. Since becoming principal in 2011, he has completed several initiatives.
Under his leadership the 3rd floor was completed and the STEM program has flourished. The academy model was implemented successfully at Meadowcreek and many other schools have visited to try to replicate the success of the program.
In addition, the Meadowcreek Media Center was upgraded to meet the needs of 21st Century learners.
Mustangs also saw the birth of the Air Force ROTC program under Dr. Welch’s term.
